Job Summary:

The Ad Council is looking for a Digital Product Manager, Contract Employee to oversee the day-to-day management of our website This includes the development and delivery of new features, new pages, and updates to the website as well as scoping new projects and ensuring existing projects are completed on time and within budget. In this role, you will be responsible for the success and delivery of projects from Discovery to Launch.  The ideal candidate will be tech savvy and experienced PM that has an ability to communicate project status across multiple stakeholders within the organization.

We are looking for a talented, passionate digital professional with b-to-b experience who wants to help the Ad Council leverage our brand website to serve new and existing partners, as well as educate consumers about who we are and what we do.  In this role, you will be part of an internal team that values innovation, collaboration and is passionate about our end users. 


The compensation package for this position includes a monthly rate in the range of $11,000 – $13,000 (depending on experience).


Timing and Employment Length:

This is a contract employee role. The employment length would be approximately 3 months with the possibility to extend the contract. Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off.  We are also open to this role being a fully remote position. This position is one of at-will employment.


What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the VP, Digital Marketing to provide leadership for related projects managing all phases of implementation – Discovery Design, Development, Testing, and Launch
  • Work closely with the Marketing Communications team to implement the content strategy designed for our target audiences.    
  • With the Marketing Comms team, work cross functionally across the organization and with internal stakeholders to build and optimize the ad council experience for users and prospects
  • Manage our CMS vendor, Brightspot, develop SOWs, timelines and deliver products within scope and budget
  • Ensure that all updates, budgets and deadlines are being met.  Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables
  • Assist in determining risks to project timelines and deliverables
  • Collaborate with SEO Manager to ensure site is optimized for search
  • Ensure analytics and tracking is set up properly (Google Analytics)
  • Drive the execution of the roadmap and deliver against campaign KPIs and objectives with VP



What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience of digital project management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise CMS vendors
  • Capable of leading the development and maintenance of corporate websites
  • Product planning including SEO
  • Experience with B2B marketing
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Experience interacting with senior leaders with technical and non-technical individuals.
