ERPA is looking to add a talented Content Marketing Specialist to our marketing team. The Content Marketing Specialist will own content and thought leadership execution and optimization across our three business units (Workday, PeopleSoft & AWS). They will work with the Marketing Director, business leaders, marketing colleagues, and other stakeholders to lead our content strategy to improve brand awareness and the velocity of leads. They will position our brand by orchestrating content strategies across all online/digital platforms, video, and print by creating a range of compelling content from brief stage through execution and communicating  directly with stakeholders and turn requests into a plan of action.

  • Develop and execute overall content calendar that aligns to business unit goals with ongoing reporting that shows overall effectiveness.
  • Be the voice of executives and author long-format content.
  • Source and interview internal and external subject matter experts for external-facing content, including but not limited to blogs, case studies, white papers, trend reports, podcast episodes, and other content as needs arise.
  • Schedule and manage content calendar.
  • Maintain communication guidelines.
  • Prioritize persuasive, educational, and engaging content/thought leadership material, relying on self-initiative and internal resources.
  • Coordinate with creative resources to format content and make it ready for public consumption.
  • Assist the Marketing Director, marketing colleagues, and business stakeholders to develop marketing content and thought leadership strategies.
  • Boost web traffic by optimizing copy for SEO including ongoing keyword discovery and expansion and competitor keyword research.
  • Determine which content is effective and which content needs to be updated through use of data and feedback.
  • Maintain content library.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
  • Able to work independently. Can handle multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously. Must be able to set shift priorities and display self-initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal oral, and written communications skills, including copywriting, proofreading, and excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills
  • Able to work and contribute in a team environment and maintain a collaborative mindset in a remote environment.
  • Ability to research and interpret industry-related issues.
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines and deliverables.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new programs, platforms, and technologies.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communication.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in content production and marketing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous employment with a technology company a plus.
  • Experience continuously measuring and improving content performance; creating reports leveraging Google Analytics, Pardot, Salesloft, and social media analytics tools.
  • Ability to respond quickly in an environment of changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with Pardot, Google, Salesloft, WordPress
