At AdThrive, we enable publishers to earn top-dollar for the ads on their sites with our leading ad-tech, relationships with the largest advertisers, and our ad management services and solutions. We are changing the lives of our publishers by earning them the highest possible income for their sites. By managing all aspects of their advertising, we enable publishers to focus 100% of their time on developing traffic-driving content on their sites. 

 

We work with publishers around the world and across a variety of industries including sports, tech, travel, food, lifestyle, and gaming and there are so many new opportunities yet to uncover.

 

This position reports to the VP, Publisher Development.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients through written, video, and in-person communications
  • Using business intelligence tools to source, develop and organize lead lists
  • Generate interest across multiple industries and sizes of publishers by developing compelling outreach to achieve initial meetings with decision-makers
  • Driving new ad tech installations and managing a prospect pipeline
  • Engaging with prospective publishers, understanding their challenges, and proposing solutions
  • Staying up to date on key industry trends, analyst reports, and data points 
  • Proactively maintaining pipeline and leads in SalesForce
  • Creating and managing sales forecasts
  • Automating and improving processes that accelerate sales and new business growth
  • Partnering with PubDev and marketing teams to develop compelling, value-based communication strategies
  • Closing new publishers and consistently achieving goals 

 

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the job:

  • New business sales and advertising experience
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage, and close new business
  • Self-motivated and organized with a hunter mentality
  • Ability to work independently and own a set of prospects
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and present solutions
  • A winning attitude! 
  • Publisher and specific vertical sales experience a plus
  • Solid understanding of the digital media industry (social media, SEO, etc.)
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • A knack for attention to detail and organization
  • A passion for solving tough problems and proposing elegant solutions
  • General understanding of blogging & SEO
