The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) is looking for an outstanding multimedia Graphic Designer with B2B experience working in digital media, and with a background in developing beautiful design and aesthetics that increase awareness and consideration with brand marketers and the digital advertising community.

You have the vision to see what’s possible and you use your expert storytelling skills to simplify the most complex ideas into eye-catching design.  

This is a newly created role that will be an integral member of the Marketing Team. As the sole lead Graphic Designer, you will have the ability to help chart our artistic evolution as we begin to refine our look and feel. You will be charged with translating branding strategies and concepts across varying platforms resulting in visually compelling outputs including reports, social media graphics, presentations, infographics, event design, email templates, video graphics/animation, website/mobile app pages, digital ads, print ads, video title/end cards, icons, marketing collateral, and more. 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years multimedia digital design experience within Marketing/Advertising preferred (digital creative portfolio to demonstrate)
  • Undergraduate degree preferably from a design school 
  • Demonstrated experience in web animation / motion graphics and video editing capabilities  
  • Expert eye for typography and layout  
  • Experience in photo manipulation, compositing, and creating a variety of graphics from scratch 
  • Some understanding of UX design implications 
  • Proficient knowledge and strong interest in digital and social media marketing 
  • Excellent communicator who works very well independently with excellent time management 
  • Thrives under pressure, in fast-paced environment with quick turn-arounds 
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Mac OS and editing skills including the following: 

                    – Photoshop 

                    – Illustrator 

                    – In Design 

                    – Acrobat Reader 

                    – Keynote 

                    – PowerPoint 

                    – After Effect 

                    – Premiere Pro 

                    – XD – UX and Experience Design (or Vizio) 

Bonus Points if you have: 

  • Visual ID development experience
  • Hand-lettering skills  
  • Illustration skills  
  • Photography skills
  • HTML5 experience
