AMA is looking for a Marketing Manager, who will support AMA’s public seminar business, Women’s Leadership Center, and Membership program with the development and execution of multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns. Detailed planning, implementation, and analysis of successful strategies are critical in effectively growing these important components of AMA’s business. This position is also responsible for developing AMA’s organic social media strategy, posting on all social channels, reporting and analyzing key metrics, and increasing overall engagement.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Create and execute integrated marketing plans for public seminars, Women’s Leadership Center (WLC) and AMA Membership and in all assigned media, working closely with Learning Solution Managers and WLC Director to grow assigned portfolios.
  • Develop multi-channel promotional strategy for assigned product lines, WLC and Membership to achieve revenue goals, testing innovative and creative marketing approaches.
  • Analyze past results, competitive data and current trends to formulate public session scheduling recommendations for assigned seminars and WLC programs that align with strategic goals.
  • Share responsibility for developing and achieving annual revenue goals for seminars, WLC, Membership and new business initiatives and building related marketing expense budgets.
  • Evaluate key marketing and financial indicators to determine effectiveness of strategies and monitor progress against goals.  Adjust marketing strategies and tactics as appropriate.
  • Work with Learning Solution Managers to identify viable markets and topics for new products.
  • Direct and work with Creative Services and Digital Marketing teams to develop communications that build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and create compelling offers that appeal to customer needs.
  • Develop and execute a social media plan on all AMA social channels to increase followers and engagement.
  • Lead AMA’s social media employee advocacy program.
  • Lead all marketing for AMA’s Women Leadership Center (WLC) including working closely with WLC Director, collaborating on event schedules and managing WLC Membership and separate web pages.
  • Execute all marketing for AMA’s Women’s Leadership Global Conference for both in-person and virtual events.
  • Lead marketing initiatives to support new lines of business to contribute to AMA growth goals.
  • Other related duties.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Required, MBA/MS Preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in multi-channel direct marketing and campaign management preferably in a B-to-B setting, including responsibility for developing budgets, providing creative direction, identifying audience segments, targeting list sources and analyzing results
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a marketing plan
  • Experience in evaluating and interpreting financial metrics and a proven ability to take appropriate action to modify or capitalize on results
  • Proven experience in creating innovative marketing and growth approaches/solutions
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with others
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to the work this position requires
  • Travel in accordance with business need
