Overview:

Remedy Health Media is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our talented Sales & Brand Marketing team. Reporting directly to our VP of Marketing, this position will work closely with the Sales, Client Success, Analytics, and Editorial teams and will be responsible for assisting in the planning of our product strategy and tactics that support Remedy’s initiative to provide health information to patients and professionals in a personal way. The ideal candidate is deeply compassionate about the healthcare space and has a background in B2B sales marketing to pharmaceutical Brands. This role will cover our portfolio of endemic websites that include HealthCentral, Patient Power, TheBody, TheBodyPro, EndocrineWeb, EndocrineWeb Pro, Psycom, Psycom Pro, Practical Pain Management, SpineUniverse, SpineUniverse Pro, and OBR Oncology.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Strategic Innovation
    • Assist in the product strategy, working closely with Sales and Editorial, bringing innovative expertise in the digital media landscape as it relates to healthcare marketing. You have an understanding of what communities of patients and healthcare providers want and need through previous experiences and research.
    • Creative leadership in building supporting materials for sales presentations and RFP responses including data-driven one-sheets, showcasing Remedy’s proven success with our audience and clients. 
    • Proactively work across teams to build our strategic story by aligning each of our Brands to present Remedy as the leader in the digital healthcare space. Passionate about gathering insights, first-party data and helping produce surveys to collect audience profiles that further support and craft our message.
    • Consult in RFP brainstorm meetings to help construct compelling sales pitches that best align with advertiser initiatives.
  • Development of Sales, Marketing, and Promotional Materials
    • Articulate Remedy’s editorial product roadmap to educate the Sales and Client Success teams, developing a product catalog of our entire suite of offerings, social initiatives, and partnerships.
    • Present our new product offerings through beautifully produced sales materials working directly with editorial teams to bring their creative vision to life in an easily consumable way for our clients.
    • Work closely with the Client Success and Sales team to pursue new and incremental business by providing market and product expertise.
    • Develop outstanding sales materials utilizing PowerPoint for large client presentations and attend sales calls to further articulate the innovation and success that Remedy can drive for our clients. Work closely with Marketing-Sales team members and additional internal teams to create a variety of sales and promotional materials for both our consumer and healthcare professional Brands.
    • Assist with compiling the details and information needed to showcase features, innovations, and attributes of Remedy Brands to create robust industry awards programs nomination submissions.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marketing work experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience with a digital publisher within a sales environment or with a media ad agency, preferably with B2B marketing background. Pharma experience is a plus, healthcare experience is a must!
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare space, understanding what drives success for our audiences and advertisers through experience, and a daily drive to research trends within the healthcare landscape.
  • A PowerPoint wizard, with exceptional presentations skills is a must, whose creative eye is always evolving and seeking new ways to improve sales and promotional materials.
  • Excellent copywriting and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly digest and understand the core values of each of our Brands and can articulate how they each align, creating a cohesive story that will drive sales.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can interpret data to create compelling case studies and research overviews.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines while always maintaining extreme attention to detail.
  • Self-motivator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Able to successfully communicate with key internal and external stakeholders.
