Job Description

Full service interactive marketing agency seeks an individual to join the company in the role of Media Planner. You will be the primary digital media planner across a few brands working directly with a Media Supervisor and Assistant Media Planner as well as the full media team and account team – a fun group of passionate professionals. You’ll be working in a cool, fun, laid-back, non-stuffy space located in New York’s West Village with some of the most talented people in the business. You must be self-motivated and comfortable with a flexible work environment.


  • Develop and execute online media plans (display, email, lead generation):
    • Draft and issue RFPs
    • Vet vendor proposals, lead Q&A, negotiate online media placement and pricing
    • Assist Media Supervisor in presenting media plan recommendation to client
    • Create, deploy, and maintain insertion orders
    • Create and maintain creative spec sheets
    • Code, upload, and traffic campaigns
  • Perform in depth campaign analysis and data compilation
  • Manage media invoicing and solve discrepancies
  • Develop POVs
  • Research, compile, and analyze competitive data
  • Optimize media placements – recommend strategic and tactical changes to maximize campaign performance
  • Maintain vendor relationships and proactively seek out new media opportunities
  • Manage and train Assistant Media Planners



  • 1-2 years’ digital media planning experience required
  • Paid search experience a plus
  • Experience drafting and issuing RFPs, leading Q&A and negotiating with vendors
  • Experience working within media and research tools including DoubleClick DFA, Kantar comScore, Google Analytics, and/or Omniture
  • Demonstrates leadership skills, takes initiative, dynamic, proactive and self-motivated
  • Strong client service orientation
  • Team player – self-motivated, excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and decision-making skills required
  • Confident and clear oral and written communication skills necessary
  • Strong math skills and understanding of Microsoft tools required (Excel including pivot tables, PPT, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking capabilities
  • Strict attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Pharmaceutical experience a plus
