THE OPPORTUNITY:

MiQ is looking for a Sales Planner, based in Chicago. The successful candidate will be empowered to grow client relationships across a portfolio of advertisers. The role offers the opportunity to join an innovative company, with an award winning culture and ambitious growth plans. The Sales Planner will be tasked with creating client facing proposals, mastering MiQ product utilization strategy, living our mantra of “Inspire through Insights”, and upholding operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work closely with Sales, Client Services, Trading, Analyst and Product teams to build accurate and thoughtful proposals in a timely fashion
  • Master MiQ product capabilities and stay current on the latest industry trends to inform internal and external teams
  • Subject matter expert on MiQ pricing and strategies based off client vertical and need
  • Strategize and collaborate with sales leads in pre-sale periods to develop data-backed RFP’s to existing client business and win net new business Implement and uphold the proposal production process to ensure operational excellence and flawless execution of pre-sale campaign deliverables
  • Work with manager to create pre-campaign insight reports that help MiQ win new business

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of advertising technology or media planning experience
  • Commercial experience & clear evidence of executing strategic planning for advertisers that ultimately led to business partnership growth through revenue and/or business line growth
  • Proven ability of improving internal processes to better communication and knowledge sharing across internal/external stakeholders Involvement in a high energy work environment with ability to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Sound understanding of the digital programmatic ecosystem and the vendor-agency-advertiser dynamic
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal/external team members
  • Adept understanding of the programmatic/advertising industry and ability to convey that knowledge to others
  • Ability to take abstract ideas and translate into actionable solutions
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize projects/tasks simultaneously and to completion
  • Expertise with the Microsoft Office Suite
