Conviva is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant, a dynamic role that couples consultative selling with customer relations to drive adoption and growth of Conviva’s solutions.  The Solutions Consultant will work closely with Account Executives to understand prospect challenges, acting as the primary point-of-contact for our client engagements, and help up-sell and grow accounts.  SC’s demonstrate passion for our client’s success, bringing Conviva’s best ideas, innovations, and capabilities to drive maximum business value. 

What You Get to Do: 

  • Discover and analyze individual customer goals and challenges and map those back to Conviva’s suite of solutions.
  • Answer technical questions from prospects and customers regarding Conviva technology, features, solutions, and applications, as well as articulate Conviva technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
  • Present customized story-driven demonstrations aligned with key business value and solution differentiation.
  • Nurture relationships with the client and help foster collaboration between Conviva teams and the clients’ teams, creating win-win environments.
  • Evangelize the value of Conviva’s solutions and help our clients extract maximum value from our services.
  • Become a trusted advisor for the customer and help define their integration strategy.
  • Travel as required.

Whilst not ultimately responsible for closing commercial deals and terms, the SC owns the renewal with existing accounts and is further incentivized to identify and support pre-sales activity on expansion opportunities as well as new prospects.  

What You Bring to the Role: 

  • 5+ years experience as a Solutions Consultant, Technical Account Manager or Sales Engineer with a SaaS or technology consultancy supporting enterprise accounts.
  • Solid working knowledge of OTT video delivery technology, data, analytics.
  • Experience leading meetings and presentations in a pre-sales and/or post-sales capacity.
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills, with experience up-selling/growing accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and consulting skills (i.e – strategic, technological) with a service-driven, sales mindset.
  • Ability to analyze and digest data to tell a cohesive story, as well as high capacity to learn new technology/terminology/products.
  • Flexible, adaptable, organized, hungry to learn and grow.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, working with big data sets and advertising/media analytics a BIG PLUS.
  • Experience with data mining and data visualization to see beyond the numbers and enable customers to operationalize our data for the purposes of strategic planning as well as tactical root-cause analysis a BIG PLUS.
  • BS in Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
