She Runs It
The Membership Manager is responsible for supporting our national expansion through memberships, communications, programming, and committee relationships in the Southeast regions. The Southeast Membership Manager is responsible for building a She Runs It Community in this rather new and growing active market. Must be able to anticipate project needs across departments, demonstrate technical/trouble-shooting ability, discern work priorities, leadership and meet deadlines with little supervision.
Responsibilities:
Serve as Membership onboarding lead, which involves onboarding Southeast Members on a weekly basis and ensuring they are added to the organization’s communication flow.
Serve as liaison to Southeast committees alongside committee co-chairs and work to carry out the committee’s initiatives. Currently, there are 3 committees established, but as growth continues, you will set up additional committees.
Southeast Leadership Development Committee
Responsibilities will include:
Programming 1 thought leadership events in-person/Virtual
Hosting networking circles for Southeast Membership
Lead monthly committee meetings
Southeast Mentoring Committee
Responsibilities will include:
Lead – month mentoring programs
Help shape the mentoring program with fellow mentoring leads
Lead pairing sessions alongside committee members
Lead monthly committee meetings
Southeast Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee
Responsibilities will include:
Programming Equity in Action event in-person/Virtual
Lead monthly committee meetings
Assist in marketing ideas & making suggestions for improvements based on observations for your membership.
Create and implement membership programs and initiatives to engage current members and recruit new members.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior project and time management skills; excellent attention to detail.
- Creative problem-solver, tech-savvy, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Previous experience with a membership-based organization.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and work assignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrate ability to conduct and lead monthly committee meetings alongside co-chairs.
- Ability to work independently and in a team/collaborative work environment.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and service-oriented. Is responsive and has the ability to foster relationships.
- Experience with WordPress or other website management tools.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices, first-hand experience with MailChimp, and/or other email marketing services.
- Proficient in the latest versions of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Google Docs.
- Willingness and readiness to learn new platforms and software as our team expands nationally.
Bachelor’s Degree required
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or hospitality management preferred
