Job Description

 

She Runs It is seeking an Events and Marketing Coordinator to assist the Events Director and Marketing lead.

 

As a member of the Events and Marketing teams, the Events and Marketing Coordinator will report to the Events Director of the Northeast as well as the Marketing lead. Due to the nature of this role, the following skills are required:

The Events and Marketing Coordinator will be working interdepartmentally as follows

 

Events Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and host virtual meetings
  • Schedule and participate in prep calls with event panelists and team members
  • Post events to site and Eventbrite
  • Monitor and edit event pages to reflect changes
  • Create presentations on Microsoft PowerPoint for events
  • Create deliverables to supplement graphic designer deliverables
  • Coordinate, manage, and host zoom calls
  • Spotlight key parties during events
  • Ensure smooth presentation progression
  • Create and manage breakout rooms
  • Address general technical issues
  • Prepare and deliver recordings post-events
  • Update virtual event tracker to reflect new and existing events
  • Keep honoree database up to date

 

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Monthly Member Newsletter by
  • Collecting committee dates for Northeast and Midwest and West Docs
  • Creating any necessary graphics
  • (Member of the Month, Job Bank, Virtual Programming, and any additional needs)
  • Send out dedicated mailers when requested

 

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Schedule calls for CEO
  • Monitor and manage info box by
  • Assisting potential and current members with questions, concerns, and comments
  • Post job listings that have been submitted and follow up to correct errors and fill missing information
  • Monitor auto-reply emails to make a note of anyone who is no longer at their companies and change accounts based on bounce-back checks
  • Review project and collaboration proposals and share with team to determine if further action is necessary
  • Manage passwords and share with necessary teammates
  • Edit PowerPoints to reflect company branding as requested

 

The Following is Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Zoom, Teams, WordPress, SurveyMonkey, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite is preferred.
  • Must be able to travel to events
