How long have you been a She Runs It Member?
I can’t remember not being a She Runs It Member! 8-10 years at this point.
What committees/programs are you involved in within She Runs It?
I’m currently a Mentor but have participated in the Mentorship program as both a Mentor and Mentee. I’m also part of the iCAP group…. And after the most fun She Runs It event ever (Poker Power), I’m a proud participant in an unofficial SRI poker playing group.
What advice would you give to fellow She Runs It members to make the most of their membership?
Take advantage of the Mentorship program! I’ve made amazing connections and developed wonderful friendships through it. I have found it to be an invaluable program.
What is something you are currently working on professionally that excites you?
I love working with partners on their Multicultural advertising plans. It’s a lot of fun to help new clients explore Spanish language advertising, and I truly enjoy helping them find the best ways to reach US Hispanics as our audience continues to grow. From a work perspective, I’m excited about Copa America this summer —– It’s such a fun tournament and gives our clients incredible exposure. I also just finished a 20-week Intro to Spanish class with my Chicago teammates, and learning a new language with my colleagues (and in my 40s) was an adventure!
