The educational and charitable arm
of She Runs It

The She Runs It Foundation advocates for more inclusive workplaces and cultures so that women of all ethnicities, backgrounds and identities can prosper in marketing, media and tech. The Foundation addresses deficits in the industry by focusing on corporate advocacy and long-term systems change pursued through three key initiatives.

1. #Inclusive100: An initiative launched in 2018 by She Runs It, #Inclusive100 has been measuring inclusion and diversity across marketing, media, and tech using a measurement-based tool that pivots on the rigorous Seramount Inclusion Index, a standard setting corporate DE&I benchmark.

2. Education Loan Grant: Women bear the heaviest burden of student loan debt, and that debt can equal 3 to 4 times her annual salary early in her career. Since launching this program in 2012, She Runs It has paid nearly $1.6 million to alleviate the burden of education debt for rising stars in the industry.

3. START Accelerator: Launched in 2022, this program helps women of color entrepreneurs transform their early-stage ideas into business plans by providing the cohort with support, mentorship, and capital.

Foundation board members are industry executives from marketing, media and tech who represent Corporate Alliance Partner companies that invest $75,000 per year to She Runs It; individuals who have philanthropic expertise and interest in She Runs It’s mission and are willing to aid in fostering connections and in fundraising, and DEI executives who can help guide She Runs It in prioritizing our DEI efforts to provide greater support to our members and our industry.
