Describe your career journey. 

Started in the New York agency scene. Moved over to sales at Gawker Media Group where I learned a ton. Now, overseeing the Midwest region at Gimlet Media and talking about podcasts to anyone who will listen.

Fun, hungry, and honest

What committees/programs are you involved in with She Runs It? 

Co-chair of Leadership Development Committee

How has participating as a co-chair on the leadership development committee helped with your own personal and career development? 

I have met some amazing women! The Leadership Development Committee gets to plan all these incredible events for the She Runs It community. And as co-chair, I get to connect with and talk to our speakers/panelists/coaches/etc. It has been awesome to not only put these together but also talk to these incredible women who are really trying to change the game. I have learned that there is no straight career path, it can go anywhere, that is okay. I have learned not to be afraid of what is next. As long as I trust myself and keep my confidence up, I will continue to do great things.

Name a woman who inspires you and why. 

I can’t name just one! I like women who are unapologetically themselves, push to make themselves better, work for a better tomorrow, are honest, kind, and funny — Barbara Corcoran, my mom, Mindy Kaling, Tina Fey, Joan Rivers, just to name a few. There is also a group of women from the former Gawker Media Group who are fearless, loyal, inspiring and incredible dressers. I will always be inspired by them.
