It’s Time to take the stage!

The June Executive Class Retreat will focus on techniques that will help you craft and deliver compelling content, tell stories that inspire and ignite an audience, and take the stage with poise and confidence. Inside every leader –that means you – is a wealth of ideas, experiences, passions, and personal stories that the world wants to hear. This session will build your confidence as a persuasive speaker and compelling storyteller.

OVID INC presenters Heather Thomas and Jane Praeger will lead a dynamic workshop called From the Page to the Stage: Harness the Power of Storytelling to bring your ideas to life. The presenters bring more than 30 years of experience enabling rising leaders to build their executive presence, win over skeptics, and confidently present their ideas. They have also helped leaders thrive in the line of fire on 60 Minutes and introduce world-changing ideas at Davos and TED.

12:15 – 1:30 pm – LUNCH – Glasshouse Space.  

1:35 – 2:30 pm – Personal Development.  Functional Fitness: A Lifelong Journey. And Why It Is Important. 

Exercise can reduce insulin resistance and inflammation and stimulate chemicals that improve brain health. But there is no “one size fits all” approach to fitness. In this session you will shape a movement schedule that fits your busy lifestyle, for now and forever. NASM-certified personal trainer and ACE Functional Movement Specialist Natalie DeGenova will discuss simple ways to implement more movement into your day-to-day, including functional exercise that mimics daily tasks and ways to find movement that you actually enjoy.

2:30 – 2:45 pm – BREAK

2:45 – 3:45 pm – Fashion Forward.  The New Work Wardrobe.  Lynn Branigan will conduct a fireside chat with Adrienne Kronovet, Founder and CEO of Ameliora, who launched a fashion brand right out of college. Ameliora features luxurious materials, modern tailoring, and small-batch construction methods to ensure each garment is as exceptional as the woman who wears it. Ameliora has been featured in Forbes, Fast Company, Good Day New York, INC Magazine, and many others. The fireside chat will be followed by a fashion show.

3:45 – 5:00 pm – Reception + Magical Guest.
