The She Runs It Multicultural Committees proudly present the 9th Annual Multicultural Bootcamp 2021. This year’s event is all about intention, action, and outcomes. Join us during the week of April 19th for a daily dose of information, inspiration, instruction, and networking as we seek to create systemic change and shape corporate cultures that proactively invite people of color to join and succeed in our industry.

SESSION THREE: Facing Facts: A 60-Minute Crash Course on Structural Inequality in America 

In this session, participants will be guided through a virtual simulation — assuming new identities, then encountering a series of fact-based advantages and limitations inherent to the intersection of their race, class, gender, faith, sexual orientation, age, and ability. Facilitated by Factuality, this experience will showcase structural inequalities to help foster an understanding of marginalization, drive empathy and improve personal and professional relationships.
