What made you join She Runs It? For community and connection. I wanted to expand my professional connections beyond my workspace and I found She Runs when we were all doing fully remote work. I’m also very passionate about women leadership and truly believe that we can all thrive together, something that She Runs It also holds in its values.

What is something you are currently working on professionally that excites you? Two things: (1) I had been looking to pivot for a while to work closely on a growing product at Google and recently I was able to successfully land a role in the Google Travel team. I’m excited about the problem statements I’m working on as well as learning about the ever growing travel industry  2) I am currently pursuing an executive education at Stanford which is helping me grow my network and push myself outside of the comfort zone with the immense learning and practice

What committees/programs are you involved in with She Runs It? I’m part of the west coast committee and have worked on both the mentoring committee as well as development committee. I’ve been both a mentor as well as a mentee through the mentorship program and currently mentoring a group of amazing women through the Spring group mentoring program. I have also had the opportunity to be a panelist on the She Runs It All Star Mentor ERG Mini-Series Event.

What advice would you give to fellow new members in making the most of their membership? You’ll truly get what you put into the She Runs It program. Sign up for the Networking sessions, get involved with the Mentorship Program and be a part of the great programming. She Runs It provides a fantastic platform to grow, get inspired and feel a sense of belonging – you just have to choose your goals and get started!

What do the words “She Runs It” mean to you? Being bold and unapologetically ambitious while getting supported through an amazing community of women!
