Describe your career journey.  I have over 15 years of experience in the online, mobile and video space. Prior to joining Dow Jones Media Group, I was the Chief Operating Officer at A Plus. Before that, I was Chief Digital Sales Officer for the Wall Street Journal, where I directly oversaw the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, which encompasses WSJ.com, WSJ Live, MarketWatch and Smart Money. Other companies I have worked at include Ask.com and Yahoo!, where I specialized in advertising, business development, big data, and branded entertainment.

How has She Runs It helped you personally and/or professionally? Professionally, She Runs It has helped me stay up to speed with current trends and topics in the marketplace.  As a resource, the She Runs It events offer the best content in the NYC advertising community. On a personal level, the relationships I have made over the years serving on committees and through the mentorship program are second to none. It is always a highlight of my day when I run into a fellow She Runs It member that I have worked with.

Why do you feel that men should have a personal investment in women’s career advancement?  As a father of two daughters, my top priority is to pay it forward and help as many people as I can personally and professionally.

Name a woman who inspires you and why.  My wife (Lindsay), who is raising two children, managing a career, and still finds time to lend a hand through charity organizations.

What do you think is the best-kept secret of She Runs It?  She Runs It is an organization that you can get involved with and have an impact.  There are so many committees and great ways to participate it is truly wonderful.

In addition to being a She Runs It ambassador, you were also a former member of the mentoring committee, what is one of your top takeaways from serving on that committee?  We are all mentees and mentors. No matter what your age or experience level is, we can all learn from one another.
