Describe your career journey.  

My career has been an incredible non-linear journey. It has allowed me to live in some of the largest markets, and shown me different facets of the advertising marketing industry – ranging from production to finance and now to sales strategy & product marketing.

Through these experiences, I have had the privilege to work with some of the most fascinating, and insightful leaders in the industry.  My current role allows me to influence and educate marketers/brands through a cultural first lens. This gives brands an authentic voice in reaching specific audiences that are critical to their future. I’m grateful that I can bring my authentic self to work at Google, everyday.

Which three words would you use to describe your personality? 

Passionate, Strategic, Resilient

Name a woman who inspires you and why.  

Michelle Obama is an inspiration to me. She is bold, intelligent, determined, fierce, and stands her truth.

What committees/programs are you involved in with She Runs It? 

I’m currently involved in the Multicultural committee in Chicago – building diverse communities and infusing multiculturalism within the organization.  We are currently shaping our annual Multicultural Bootcamp for March 2020 and I’ve been able to contribute through thoughtful content, leadership, as well extend my network.

What advice would you give to fellow new members in making the most of their membership?

I would advise to be present and try to join a committee if your schedule permits. You will be able to experience the benefits of this organization, expand your skill sets, meet more members, and organize meaningful initiatives. Let’s connect!

What does the words “She Runs It” mean to you?

The words “She Runs It” to me means empowerment and leading whether is it in your personal life or professional scenario.  With this, it carries a major responsibility to continue the streamline by empowering and motivating the next generation who are striving for more.
