Vice President, Client & Agency Partnerships, OUTFRONT Media

Describe your career journey.

Transformational. I am very grateful for my career journey as I have had a front seat, working at best-in-class brands as the media industry has and continues to evolve. I’ve been afforded the opportunity to hold sales and sales leadership roles at media organizations such as CNN, The New York Times, Yahoo!, The Washington Post and currently at OUTFRONT. Staying very active in the trade community and She Runs It has helped me tremendously throughout this journey. It has enabled me to build a rich network with mentors, close friends and business partners along the way.

Which three words would you use to describe your personality?

Authentic, Optimistic, Curious

Name a woman who inspires you and why?

Oprah Winfrey. She is the ultimate media mogul and one of the most inspiring and powerful female leaders of our time. She has conquered many barriers from breaking the glass ceiling in terms of earning power, her success in building a personal brand and being authentic and philanthropic along the way.

What are you involved in with She Runs It?

I currently Co-Chair the Programming Committee which is responsible for planning and executing our thought-leadership events. These events educate the community on the current trends taking place in the media industry. The Programming Committee has enabled me to forge long lasting relationships with marketers, agency leaders and fellow leaders at media organizations.  Additionally, I have been active in the Mentorship program and within the Executive Class. Each one of these groups has been beneficial for me over the years at various stages of my career.

What advice would you give to fellow new members in making the most of their membership?

Be active and present. Those who benefit the most from She Runs It are the ones that participate, join committees, attend the events and put themselves out there by meeting new people.

How can members benefit from joining  and becoming active in the programming committee?

Member benefits include the opportunity to develop meaningful connections, stay in the know, give back and grow valuable leadership skills. No matter what point you are at in your career, having this sounding board of successful, inspiring women will prove immensely valuable.
