What made you join She Runs It?
My first advertising position was as a media buyer at Ted Bates on the Colgate account. Jackie DeCosta, President of AWNY and Media Director at Ted Bates introduced me to AWNY. She also gifted me with a membership to AWNY. When AWNY morphed into She Runs It, I naturally did too.
What is something you are currently working on professionally that excites you?
I love every day at The Sales Athlete, Inc. and it’s the best idea I ever had!!
We represent candidates who are masterful communicators and profound revenue generators to The Sales Athlete, Inc. roster of clients. Our clients are equally dynamic leaders within the entertainment, media and technology sectors. Satisfying our client and candidate needs is extremely gratifying.
What are you looking forward to, having joined She Runs It?
I admire the leadership of She Runs It for their vision to expand nationally. I became active with the Mentorship committee because I match talent with career opportunities for a living and believe mentoring is my way of giving back.
What have you enjoyed being involved with in the West Coast Committee?
Lauren Mercer selected me as a volunteer on the She Runs It Mentorship Committee. She believed my history would be best applied by supporting mentees and other women in the industry. She was very right to match my core competencies with SRI needs.
Name a person who inspires you and why?
The one person who has most inspired me recently is Lili Bosse, Mayor of Beverly Hills. She brought Beverly Hills businesses and residents together with her brilliant initiative, “Business with Bosse.”
Mayor Bosse’s, “I’m so grateful to our incredible community” energy delivers and is an inspiration to all of us.
