Fight the Fatigue: DEI Needs More Energy Now than Ever
DEI initiatives have been losing momentum …. at exactly the wrong time. Population shifts are accelerating rapidly, and the day is in sight when the US will become majority-minority. As the population becomes more multicultural, the need for brands to connect authentically with diverse audiences grows exponentially, and companies that nurture diverse workforces and workplaces will have a keen advantage. What will happen to those who don’t? Join us for an insightful discussion on the perils of scaling back DEI resources and commitments in this pivotal age. #Inclusive100: Measurement Means Movement
Seven years after launching the industry’s first DEI measurement tool with Seramount, She Runs It funded and co-created the Marketing, Media and Adtech Inclusion Index in 2023. It was informed by the #Inclusive100 consortium conversations, and designed to focus on issues that are most important to our industry. In this session, the results of the first Marketing, Media and Adtech Inclusion Index will be revealed with a focus on best practices and repeatable actions that companies can embrace in their journey toward DEI progress. Find out why 17 companies made the index in 2024, and take those lessons back to work with you after the Bootcamp.

Momentum in Motion (Putting the lessons to work)
Words inspire and conversations motivate, but action is the most important outcome of the Multicultural Bootcamp. The afternoon concludes with a workshop that will teach you how to take the day’s lessons and learnings out of the building and into your interactions with colleagues and communities. Through role-playing, ideation, and activities, you will walk away with inclusive language, bite sized actions, renewed energy, and other components of a DEI “playbook” that will help you implement tactics and strategies proven to work.
