Join us for our 4th annual Bootcamp event!

On July 25, we invite you to tap into the “fire inside.” Bootcampers will benefit from the wisdom and experience of fellow travelers who will translate the vision of change from the C-Suite to the ground troops. Leaders and influencers of diverse backgrounds … from across industries … who have married passion and purpose in pursuit of their goals will share strategies to navigate change and take control of their journey.

Enjoy an afternoon of informational sessions, Q&A and networking—providing a roadmap to help you Take Charge Now.

Part 2

{1:50 – 2pm} | What Gets Measured Gets Done | An overview of the Inclusion and Diversity Accountability Consortium (IDAC) from Carol Watson, Senior Director, Global Member Engagement, Diversity Best Practices

  • The marketing and media industry has long proclaimed a desire to achieve a workforce that is reflective  of the global population, but after years of diversity pledges and proclamations, very little progress has been made. IDAC is a measurement-based initiative (launched by She Runs It and Diversity Best Practices), that requires corporate leaders to replace good intentions with hard data and trackable action. To date, the Consortium has attracted major marketers, publishers, industry organizations and agencies. But not nearly enough of them. Carol Watson is on a mission to stop admiring the problem and start fixing it. Join this session to learn how meaningful change might finally be possible.
