The She Runs It Multicultural Committees proudly present the 9th Annual Multicultural Bootcamp 2021. This year’s event is all about intention, action, and outcomes. Join us during the week of April 19th for a daily dose of information, inspiration, instruction, and networking as we seek to create systemic change and shape corporate cultures that proactively invite people of color to join and succeed in our industry.

Nearly 835 thousand people left the marketing industry during the past year due to Covid-19. A disproportionate number of them were women, and an alarming number were women of color. The pandemic hasn’t just changed the way we work, it has dramatically changed the face of the workplace. We need to get our women back to work. In this conversation you will hear personal stories from women who are confronting the challenges of COVID-19, and learn their strategies for conquering the new realities.

Every woman who breaks through barriers to become the first of her kind learns essential lessons that can pave the way for others to follow. Not every first is public. Even the personal firsts — the first in her family to attend college, the first to study abroad — open doors and light up the paths to success.  In this session, three women navigating being “the first,” will share perspectives and experiences to reveal how they charted and are charting their courses to leadership.
