According to the U.S Census Bureau, the gender wage gap narrowed by less than one cent in 2020, while working women’s median income decreased by 1.2%, and gender differences in negotiation outcomes may be one of the largest contributors. Given such inequities, women need to lean in and hone their ability to calculate their worth, be more assertive, and ask for what they deserve.

These skills will be explored on December 9th, when She Runs It Young Executives and Until There Are Nine – an educational network and resource group that helps women advocate for their rightful share of compensation and rewards – host The Art of Negotiation. This event will kick off with a panel discussion, then speakers will share advice on how to negotiate your worth, followed by breakout sessions with speakers to network and practice your new skills.
