As we wrap up another incredible year at She Runs It, I’m reminded that sometimes the best way to see what’s ahead is to pause and look back. And when I look back at 2025, I see a community that showed up, again and again, with strength, generosity, passion, and a powerful commitment to lift one another.

This year, our promise to help members stay strong, current, connected, and included – a mantra we adopted during Covid – took on new meaning. In a climate marked by division and uncertainty, our community chose unity and courage. We innovated our programming, expanded our reach, and doubled down on opportunities to help women grow, thrive, and lead.

From CES Executive Class Connects to C-Suite Meets with leaders from Volkswagen and The Vitamin Shoppe… from Mastering Leadership and Lift As You Climb to Night of Networking Unplugged sessions that explored everything from data to disruption to women’s sports… from the Working Mother of the Year Awards to Changing the Game and Women of the Year… we convened, we shared, and we learned from one another. We gathered in LA, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, New York, and Cannes. We launched new dinners, shaped new networking circles, recorded new podcasts, networked with new Notables, formed new collaborations, and participated in countless meaningful conversations.

We also planted two important new flags.

FutureProof, our newest initiative, is designed to equip women (and the men who champion them), with the mindset and capabilities needed for a workplace that refuses to stand still. Technology, culture, and business models are shifting faster than ever, and FutureProof gives our members practical tools to anticipate what’s next and lead through change. Through workshops, thought leadership, and programs like our inaugural session with Doug Weaver on Thursday (12/4), we’re empowering our community not just to adapt, but to help shape the future of our work.

We also launched Learners to Leaders, an initiative designed to help us surpass $2 million in education loan grants by 2027 to pay down student loans for rising stars in our industry. This work matters immensely as education debt too often holds women back from taking risks, pursuing leadership roles, or investing in their own growth. Learners to Leaders seeks to remove the burden of debt so women can rise with confidence.

All of this while continuing our work with #Inclusive100, our long-standing commitment to help companies build workforces and workplaces that truly reflect the diverse consumer population our industry seeks to engage. Through our quarterly roundtables, we create a space for leaders to share what’s working, confront the stubborn barriers that slow progress, and support one another through the fatigue that can come with driving change. These conversations keep our community strong, informed, and aligned around the belief that inclusion isn’t a moment, it’s a movement that requires us to link arms and work together.

As we look to 2026, I feel immense gratitude and optimism. We will continue to deliver on the promise we made years ago: to champion and propel women in marketing, media, and tech, and to honor the male allies who help drive this mission forward. We will continue to be a community that lifts, connects, celebrates, and empowers.
