What part of the industry do you work in?
I currently work as an account manager supporting hundreds of accounts in cable sales. My role involves strategic planning and management, strong client relationships, and helping agencies navigate the evolving media landscape.
How long have you been a She Runs It Member?
I have been a She Runs It Member for about a year and a half now!
What committees/programs are you involved in within She Runs It?
I recently completed the fall cohort of the SRI mentorship program. Beyond virtual chats, my mentor and peers would meet at a local coffee shop to discuss industry developments, career advice, and other helpful topics.
What advice would you give to fellow She Runs It members to make the most of their membership?
Attend in-person events! My favorite aspect of She Runs It is the curated panels and workshops hosted by the wonderful Atlanta team. I always come away with a newfound excitement for the industry and ways to support colleagues and SRI members. It’s an amazing opportunity to explore different companies in the Atlanta area and meet women who lead incredible lives, balancing meaningful full-time jobs with families, friends, and more. My advice to other She Runs It members in the area would be to grab your tickets for as many in-person events as possible. Even if I’ve had a long day or Atlanta traffic has me crying behind the wheel, I’ve never regretted attending a She Runs It event.
What is something you are currently working on professionally that excites you?
Right now, I am working on developing my skills in the programmatic space. I love reading about all the cool ways technology makes our lives easier, so we can free up space to focus on things that matter, whether it’s close connections with clients and helping them with their pain points or having time back to spend with our friends and families. I am also looking to bring my knowledge from the yoga space into the professional world. I look to always spread peace and mindfulness, especially in the workplace, where things can quickly get heated and stressful. I am excited to see where these developments lead me in the next few years.
