There’s a reason we put so much intention into the spaces we create at She Runs It. Because the right room can change everything. It can expand your network, teach you a new skill, shift your perspective, and alter your trajectory.

This week, we gather for one of the most powerful rooms we convene all year: Women of the Year. It’s a room filled with celebration, but it’s also something more. When we honor extraordinary leaders and hear their stories, we don’t just recognize achievement; we elevate what’s possible for everyone in the room. We create visibility, inspiration, and momentum.

This commitment goes far beyond one venue and one night.

Some of the most meaningful impact happens in quieter, more intimate settings. Rooms where conversations are candid, questions (and answers) are unvarnished, and connections create opportunity. We saw that last month at Possible in Jeffersonian-style salons that brought small groups together around one table for a single, focused conversation. Everyone came to the table curious and left richer.

We create these rooms across everything we do. In our mentoring program, where relationships ignite and last a lifetime, not just a six-month cycle. We host rooms for networking. For our Executive Class. For members of our community who want to futureproof their careers.
For #Inclusive100 leaders who want to collectively tackle the evolving realities of the workplace with honesty and shared accountability.

Each of these rooms is designed with intention, not just to bring people together, but to create access, foster candor, and build a community that moves people toward their full potential.

As we celebrate this year’s Women of the Year, I encourage you to reflect on the rooms that have shaped you, and the ones whose doors you can help open for others. Invite someone in. Make an introduction. Be the reason someone else finds themselves in a room that changes everything.

At She Runs It, we will continue to convene spaces where ambition is shared, leadership is strengthened, and futures are shaped. Because when the right people come together in the right room, anything is possible.
