Every June, our industry gathers in Cannes to celebrate creativity, innovation, and the ideas shaping the future of marketing. For She Runs It, Cannes has become something even more important. It’s a moment to reflect the values we champion every day, and a reminder of what’s possible when leaders come together with purpose.
This year, we’re proud to return in service to many of our Corporate Alliance Partners who have invited us to program a series of conversations that speak to the heart of our community: courage, allyship, mentorship, and the belief that success should create opportunities for others.
Our week begins with Fearless Voices, hosted by Basis and co-sponsored by TelevisaUnivision. The session brings together leaders who have navigated challenges, taken risks, and pushed through barriers to conquer adversity. Their stories remind us that leadership isn’t about being fearless. It’s about moving forward despite the uncertainty.
On Tuesday, we’ll host She Runs It. He Gets It., graciously hosted by Teads. Progress requires partnership, and this conversation celebrates the male allies who actively champion women, open doors, and use their influence to help create more inclusive workplaces.
Wednesday will feature our signature event, Best of the Badass Bosses, presented with ADWEEK and supported by EX.CO, Wunderkind, Weber Shandwick, SiriusXM Media, and Screenvision Media. Several accomplished leaders will share candid lessons from their careers … the wins, the setbacks, and the leadership strategies that have helped them succeed. I always say this is a Master Class for others who want to find their way to the C-suite.
We close the day with Lift As You Climb, hosted by Index Exchange. Few ideas are more central to She Runs It than the belief that leadership comes with a responsibility to pay it forward and help others rise. The women on this stage embody that philosophy, demonstrating how mentorship, sponsorship, and generosity can create lasting impact.
What makes Cannes special isn’t the location or the scale of the event. It’s the opportunity to connect with people who challenge our thinking, broaden our perspectives, and inspire us to lead differently. We’ll come home with new ideas, new relationships, and renewed energy. At its core, that’s what She Runs It is all about. We exist to help people grow, support one another, and clear paths for the next generation of leaders. Cannes simply gives us a global stage to celebrate those values in action.
