“The art of the possible” is a phrase attributed to 19th-century political leader Otto von Bismarck. At its core, the concept focuses on what we can do right now, while keeping an eye on what comes next. It reminds us that progress doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from intention and forward motion.
At She Runs It, I see the art of the possible play out every day across careers, companies, and communities. It’s the working mother who redefines balance on an hourly basis. The leader who passes the microphone to new voices instead of thinking they have to have all the answers. The organization that embraces new skills and mindsets in the midst of industry transformation. They all navigate disruption with creativity, intention, and grit.
We’re going to bring this mindset to life on April 27, when She Runs It returns to Miami to kick off the Possible Conference with a wellness-centered breakfast. We’ve been part of Possible since it began in 2023, and our sessions and lessons have focused on leadership, inclusion, and the critical role of male allyship. This year, we’re widening the lens to include wellness and movement, and how they fuel performance.
In partnership with Viant and Wunderkind, we’ll host Everything is Possible: A Movement & Mindset Kickoff Breakfast, built on the simple idea that how we feel influences how we show up. We’ll start with guided movement led by our own Natalie DeGenova, a Nike Trainer and obé Fitness instructor, then move into a conversation with Lindsay Dougherty (WHOOP), Caitlin McGlynn (Drizzilicious), and Nicole Portwood (Suja Life), leaders who see wellness as a performance driver. We’ll close with intention cards designed to help attendees translate the learnings into personal, professional, and doable actions.
The session is designed as a bit of a “choose your own adventure,” welcoming every fitness level while offering practical ways to manage momentum, build habits that actually stick, and avoid burnout in the pursuit of success.
Maybe the art of the possible isn’t just about what we can achieve next, but how we choose to get there. When we lead with well-being, protecting our energy, clarity, and balance, we master the art of the possible, building a way of living and working that is more sustainable and ultimately more fulfilling.
If you’re going to Possible, please plan to join us.
